Oh What a Night! Here's a quick re-cap of the Auction festivities:
*Guests stepped into a time warp with 80s/90s music blaring from the speakers and college flags and banners adorning the walls
*100 Vienna Inn Chilli Cheese Dogs consumed
*Over 230 items were up for grabs
*Over 100 Jello Shots were slurped up
*The Booze Luge stood tall on its mighty pedestal, claiming a few victims (ice, ice baby)
*MC Scott dazzled in a silver spangled shirt as our Live Auctioneer
*Combined, the Teacher Lunches went for just shy of $2,000!!
*We raised over $10,000 for Meekins!!!!!
Once again we'd like to thank the events committee for all their hard word; the Meekins Teachers for attending the auction, donating items, and just being amazing teachers; the classroom reps for organizing the class projects; MC Scott for his mad emcee skills; and all the Meekins families and businesses who contributed to the auciton either with a donation or by bidding. We hope you had fun and thanks for a great night!
