M3 Class (Age 3)

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Graduated schedule to ease children into the school year

Maximum enrollment: 15 children

(Two adults in the classroom: teacher + aide or parent)

Adult to child ratio: 1:7.5

Parents coop approximately 11 times during the school year

Children must be 2 1/2 by September 30th

(Toilet training is not a requirement for admittance to any of our classes.)

Typical Schedule:

9:15 -- Arrival

9:30 -- Morning meeting: which friends are here, which friends are absent; plans for the day

9:40 -- Center time: play activities, art, cooking on Mondays, Music on Wednesday

10:50 -- Clean up; finger plays; set up snack

11:15 -- Snack time

11:30 -- Active play (playground or active room depending on weather)

12:00 -- Story time

12:15 -- Dismissal

Blues Class (Ages 4 and 5)

Monday through Thursday, 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Maximum enrollment: 16 children

(Two adults in the classroom: teacher + aide or parent)

Adult to child ratio: 1:8

(Please note: The Blues and Reds classes interact during the day, and therefore the ratios for these two classes vary from 1:6 to 1:8.)

Parents coop approximately 13 times during the school year

Children must be 3 1/2 by September 30th

Typical Schedule:

9:15 -- Arrival

9:30 -- Morning meeting: calendar, weather, plans for the day

9:40 -- Center time; music; special guests, etc.

10:50 -- Clean up; snack time; finger plays

11:30 -- Outdoor play

12:00 -- Story time

12:15 -- Dismissal

Reds Class (Ages 4 and 5)

Monday through Friday, 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Maximum enrollment: 12 children

(Adults in the classroom: teacher + aide or parent)

Adult to child ratio: 1:6
